Scope & Execution
As an early design partner at Storyline, I led both product design and brand identity for an agentic AI writing platform built for long-form books. Instead of a single assistant, Storyline coordinates multiple specialized AI agents focused on structure, character arcs, pacing, prose, and continuity.
I worked closely with founders and engineering to design how these agents collaborate inside the manuscript — leaving contextual comments, suggesting rewrites, and flagging inconsistencies in a way that’s transparent and fully reviewable. The system was built for orchestration, not automation, keeping authors in control.
Storyline is also a shared workspace. Multiple writers and editors can collaborate in real time, manage permissions, review suggestions, and interact with AI agents collectively. I defined the interaction patterns, versioning logic, and feedback layers to ensure the experience felt structured, not overwhelming.
Results
We delivered a coordinated, multi-agent writing environment that reduced revision cycles and improved narrative consistency across full manuscripts. Authors moved from outline to polished draft faster, while maintaining voice and creative ownership.
Beyond product design, I shaped Storyline’s positioning as a creative operating system, a serious tool for writers who want structure, collaboration, and intelligent support at scale.
